Thiruvannamalai;
Thiruvannamalai was located on Tamil Nadu , INDIA . This place was reowned for its spritual significance and its cultural heritage.
This place was the home for the famous Arunachaleeshwarar temple dedicated to lord Shiva.
There was a hill Behind the temple .

IN this picture we see the Rajagopuram of the temple.

The following Pictures are evidence for the temple's Architecture
During the light festival ( kaarthigai dheepam ) in Tamil Nadu a massive Lamp will be lighted up on the top of the hill.

To remember this heritage place i took some photos with the temple
Rock Fort , Trichy;
The Rock Fort towers over the city of Tiruchirappalli and is built with rocks that are believed to be over a billion years old.

Standing at a proud height of 275 ft, the fort was constructed by the
Nayaks, who ruled between the 14th and 15th centuries.
There was a Lord Vinayaga temple in the top of the hill

It is reached by a step flight of 437 steps cut into the rock. Halfway up is the Sri Thayumanaswamy Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva.
IN the following pictures we can see the sculptures which are near the Vinayaga Sanctum . They were damaged during the period of Mugalh.

At the top of the hill we can see a beautiful view of Trichy City.
Pallavar Rock Cutcave;
When returning from the vinayaga sanctum in Rock Fort I saw a signboard which directing to The Pallavar Rock Cavecut .

After few minutes walk I reached the Cavecut
The place was recognised as a Archeological monument by the Archeological Department of India.
When I entered the Cavecut I saw a group of sculptures of Tamil Gods

And in the Cavecut there was an underground tunnel , The local peoples say that the tunnel was directing to thiruverumbur and divides as two directing to Naarthamalai and Thanjavur .

Brahadheeswara temple , Thanjavur.
The temple was built in the year 1010 CE by Chola emperor Rajaraja I in Thanjavur,
the temple is popularly known as the Big Temple. It turned 1,000 years
old in September 2010. To celebrate the 1000th year of the grand
structure, the state government and the town held many cultural events.
There was a stone in the top of the temple's main sanctum was a single stone and its weight was nearly 80 Tons.
The temple was reowned for its cultural heritage and its Inscriptions.
We can see a group of Chozha Paintings in the Temple.
The temple was built in a pure South Indian Style.This South Indian style is most fully realized both in scale and detail
in the Brihadeshwara temple built between 1003 and 1010 by the Chola
king Rajaraja 1,
The temple was fully built with Granite Stones which are carved from Naarthamalai of Pudukkottai district.

There was a Nandhi in the temple the Nandi (bull) facing the mukh-mandapam weighs about 25 tonnes.
It is made of a single stone and is about 2 m in height, 6 m in length
and 2.5 m in width. The image of Nandi is a monolithic one and is one of
the largest in the country.
